Hatchers offers you the only orchard with wedding reception facilities
in Tasmania. We are set in the beautiful Coal River valley on a 100
acre property within walking distance to Historic Richmond, the site
of Australia's oldest bridge and only 20 minutes drive from Hobart.
With more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, we
can cater for the smallest to the largest wedding parties. If you
would like to elope then we will look after just the two of you and
respect your choice for peace and privacy.
Our charming romantic garden venue offers the most picturesque setting
for your service and we can arrange this for you with either a Pastor
or Civil Celebrant. Alternatively, why not marry in Australia's oldest
church and make heritage the theme of your special day?
Our elegant 4.5 star accommodation in our gothic revival manor house
is equal to any other Tasmania has to offer. The executive honeymoon
suites feature king-sized four-poster beds, corner spa baths and
champagne and chocolates on arrival , cuddle up in front of the gas
log fire in your room. In summer, stroll around our property, feed
the animals and pick some fruit.
